Raising Fence Height to meet Pool Compliant Standards

This client’s existing fence was deemed non-compliant due to a lack of height in certain areas. They were ordered by the council to raise fence height to meet pool safety standards.

Located within the Kuring Gai Council, our client had to raise the height of their brushfence by 600mm in places. Doing this would ensure the pool fence height was 1800mm to satisfy council requirements.

Luckily with a brushfence, adjusting height is not complicated. It can be done easily, with minimal expense and the end result looks perfect. The fence looks as though it had always been as high.

Raising the Height

The end result was that the brushfence was approved as Pool Complaint. The customer was delighted at the easy solution to amend the fence height without compromising the visual appeal of their outdoor pool area.
